中国成长，在美国育儿的人来说更不易。说我们这些家长不 pay enough attention to 德育及能力的培养是不公平的。小孩的品质及待人的能力等等是从日常生活中每件小事反应出来的，象是软件的东西。得个奖，上个好大学是硬件，摆出来大家都能看到，所以在网上这个地方容易给人错觉，好像我们只关心小孩的学习。其实你说的这些大家早就明白，而且在做，但只有生活在一起的人，常来往的朋友才能看的，而且我们这一代家长的努力，要在将来才能看的成果，但我相信大家都在尽自己的努力。其实在这网上看大家的交流也可以看到家长们是在努力。偏重academic不对，但认为其它的教育比academic教育更重要也不对。
