According to North Carolina state law, if the previous lease is recorded in court before foreclosure procedure, their lease should be honored afte foreclosure. Obviously, they didn't.
According to PTFA, new landlord should give tenant 90 day to stay. however,  it doesn't state that they can stay for free.
Does state law or PTFA law has high priority?
