title insurance has this exception:

"Any lien, or right to a lien, for service, labor or material theretofore or hereafter furnished, imposed by law and not shown by the public records. "

My understanding about this is: if it is not shown by the public records, like title report, then it is not covered by the insurance. Am I right?
