you were doing your best to get your loan and your bank just approved, they can not sell to another buyer simply because you could not meet the closing date. you did not do anything intentional to delay the closing time. You have an executable contract, by law they can not simply deny you for a couple of days delay.

put everything in writing and warn them you are hiring a lawyer right now. also list out the expenses you have incurred so far. good luck.
