还是洗碗机的问题

洗碗机 （Kenmore Precision quietguard standard） 上面旋转的东西掉了，我找了个Handyman朋友去看了看，他修不了，说很奇怪，好像掉了个东西，但找不到，房客说她没有。这个房客很挑剔和厉害。但还是按时交房租的。请问这应该是我的责任吗？ 洗碗机大概有三年新。不知该再找专业修理的人，还是该换新的？这里有人有过类似的问题吗？谢谢！
