529 和 GET怎么选择？

我孩子今年12岁。为她存了几年的529但由于股市不好这个月停了，但以前的还在里面。现在又有朋友介绍GET，虽然比前几年每个unit的价钱高了许多但考虑到我孩子上大学时学费还会长，我们想买些GET。请问朋友们怎么想，我该不该把529的钱拿出来(增长的部分要交税)还是留在那里？买GET和529的好处和不好处在哪里？

一个孩子4年下来要500units，是个很大的开支呀。
