This is common practice that the seller offers bonus to the agent to stimulate the sale.
It has nothing to do with conflict of interest! You already get 50% of your agent's hard earning money, you should appreciate what your agent done for you and be happy for your agent who get a little more from the seller! Agents are human being, they have their family, friends, they have kids who need to eat! You have the right to find a good agent, but do not angery for agent making their living! Only offer your agent 1% of commission, that you are really taking advantage of people.
In a good sociaty, people should respect each other! I do not understand why some Chinese do not respect commission based people! Just imaging, if there is no real estate agents, what real estate market would be?
