you don't need worry about that. if it is almost past the deadline, ask your agent prepare amendment to extend the closing date.

The only thing you need decide is if bank don't agree to pay, are you still want to continue to close.

you can walk away now using the finiancial contingency, or continue to negotiate with seller about that.
