from this crash and sometimes they do something irrational. Just like my friend's case, what will their lenders loose if they approve their refi? Nothing. it is actually win-win situation since my friends have been the excellent borrowers for years. But only bacause of the number of the loans they got denied by their own lenders. Then they have to continue to pay the higher interest rates.
