最近碰到一件麻烦事

收到COUNTY （ＡＬＡＭＥＡＤＡ，ＣＡ）ＴＡＸＣＬＯＯＥＣＴＯＲ　来信，说我欠了房产税，如果某年某月前不交就要拍卖我的房子。打电话去查，原来是以前的房主欠了２００５年部分房产税，他们找不到以前的房主，就要我来交。我的房子是２００５年买的，当时是买了ＴＩＴＬＥＩＮＳＵＲＡＮＣＥ。　但我昨天查了一下当时的文件，好像这个ＴＡＸ不在ＩＮＳＵＲＡＮＣＥ范围里。

不知这里有没有懂行的大虾，这种事要怎么处理？
