请大家支招：12万现金往什么地方投

本来是给孩子上大学准备的，结果上了孩子他妈工作的大学，学费全免了。我们自己有房子，双家庭的，一半儿自己住，一半出租。出租那部分差不多够还房屋贷款的了。已经买了差不多十万的共同基金。退休金已经买到了最高限额。夫妻都是在学校工作，年工资收入税前11万左右。
别看是在学校，可是都不是教书的，白天都是8小时工作，没有时间自己炒股。请教各位高手，这12万放在什么地方好？先谢谢了。
