If "future owner and the tenant are bound by the prior lease", then, it would make sense that tenants pay rent, and owner doesn't kick out the tenant.
If the tenants doesn't pay rent, then how "future owner and the tenant are bound by the prior lease"?
The point of buying a rental is to rent it, so as long as the tenant is paying rent, I'd have no problem with it.

Just out of curiosity.
