Management agent did inspection after renter moved out.
He said that “It just needs some touch up paint; carpet clean and landscape clean up. The total is $525.00 for all that work. We would normally deduct that from the tenants deposit and use that money to do the work, so I don't know how you want to handle that, but we can do the work for you if you send us the funds to cover it. "
The renter has $260 nonrefundable deposit and $1300 refundable deposit. She said that she cleaned carpet and has the receipt. She expects $1300 back.
How much should I take from renters deposit? Thanks!
