应芒果网友的要求，给大家汇报一下，我觉得请律师对我合算，对吗？

几天前贴了一个帖子，关于房客毁坏出租房的事情，下面是链接：

今天去了法庭，由于是pretrial, 没有见到法官，只来了一个 Clerk，就问了一句话，要不要settle, 如果不settle，要schedule trial, 要等到明年初，对方马上说不要 settle。

对方之所以不愿settle, 两个原因，第一，我没有 move-in checklist,；第二，欠钱的能拖就拖。

我觉得请律师对我合算，我觉得应该能赢，关键是赢多少的问题，里面那么多垃圾，地毯、厕所、厨房那么脏，墙上那么多个洞，还有狗毁坏了地毯，等等，对方肯定是要赔一些的。

只要我赢一点点，对方就必须付律师费，对吗？

当然，要拿到对方的钱不容易，纵然赢了官司。
