Thanks for your interest in our property.
As landlords we are in the business of providing habitable dwellings to our tenants. This means we provide dwelling units with working and safe appliances, plumbing, electricity and living space, etc. The lease obligates us to repair defective items during the lease.
The lease cannot obligate the landlords for things outside our control. For example, we have little control over the amenities provided by the condo building such as the swimming pool. Therefore, the issue of swimming pool key is tenant's responsibility and cannot be included in the lease.
I am very sorry that we cannot come to an agreement on this issue. You are wonderful applicants and I am dissapointed that you cannot be our tenants at this time. Your application fees will be refunded.
