哈哈，出于好奇刚才查了一下，不查不知道，一查吓一跳……

楼主这贴摘抄的是郭宏安的译本。郭译本不但把“nada”翻成“纳达”，还特意加了注脚：“希腊神话女神名”（！！！） 。而且，不止这一“音译”和这个匪夷所思的注解，整个一句话的翻译（“不是感激的行动可以使我说话，而是纳达只能出生在阳光灿烂的景物之前”）显然也是出于理解错误（加缪原文是“Ce n'était pas des actions de grâces qui pouvaient me monter aux lèvres, mais ce Nada qui n'a pu naître que devant des pays ages écrasés de soleil”）。

郭因为翻译“加缪文集”，12年被授予傅雷翻译奖，“中国最权威、最受关注、奖金额度最高的翻译奖”（wiki）。

以最权威奖翻译的语言水平和敬业精神为原点，不难理解其他翻译质量。N年前同样出于好奇，浏览了一下《Baudolino》中译本，几乎每一页都有错误
