英语高手看过来，支个招

俺老师是个老学究，一辈子英语又是英语，最近他跟一位年轻人合译的小说的第10章，遇到一个句子，斟酌个没完，弄出5个译文来还在琢磨。大热天的怕这80多岁老人家热着 故请咱们坛子高手们给他评一评——

例句1.

…but he had remained as aloof and impenetrableas ever.

译文1.而他还是一如既往地裹足不前，云山雾罩的。

译文2.但他还像以前那样淡漠，让人琢磨不透。

译文3.但他跟以往一样，对她仍然保持着不冷不热，若即若离的态度。

译文4.但他仍然不露声色，没有表态。

译文5.可是他一直像以往一样那么冷漠超然，让人揣摩不透。
