Warriors lost because of their strategic mistake in the last three minutes and the heroic display of the Mavericks.

Warrior led by 9 with three minutes left in the game. Everyone was expecting an easy win for them. At that time, they need to control the tempo, use the clock, attack the basket and/or take quality shots, and employ tight defense. Instead, they kept running wild, taking quick 3s. On defense, they did not stay close with their men, but tried to steal and to block. Imagine this, would Dirk make these two 3s if someone stayed in front of him all the time? What would happen if Warriors have just made one more shot in the last 2 minutes?

The refs did an excellent job except for the last call on Davis. I believe that the whistle blower was expecting the foul. There was indeed body contact but it was not excessive enough to warrant the call.
