EB2, I-485 pending, PD Oct. 2005, filing new I-140 now?

have an EB2 I-485 pending, PD Oct. 2005, it was filed with previous employer. The new EB2 PERM with the current employer (a big IT company) just got approved, the law firm hired by the employer want to file I-140 for me now and "will request that the new I-140 be interfiled with the pending I-1485 adjustment of status application " I'm a little concerned, as the bulletin is already Aug. 2005, so is it a good time now to file the new I-140 and request the new I-140 be interfiled with the pending I-485? Will this affect the pending I-485?

Pjiang and other experts, and others who has similar experience, please share your thoughts/experience.
