have an EB2 I-485 pending, PD Oct. 2005, it was filed with previous employer. The new EB2 PERM with the current employer (a big IT company) just got approved, the law firm hired by the employer want to file I-140 for me now and "will request that the new I-140 be interfiled with the pending I-1485 adjustment of status application " I'm a little concerned, as the bulletin is already Aug. 2005, so is it a good time now to file the new I-140 and request the new I-140 be interfiled with the pending I-485? Will this affect the pending I-485?
-If your I-485 pending was >180 days before you changed your job and your new job is the same/similar area as the old job, you do not need to file a new I-140 unless the new I-140 is EB1.
