关于SHOOTING ＳＴＡＲ QUESTION.

我没看过原始问题,但根据答案,问题应该如下:

有一颗流星在一个小时内看到的概率为0.9,问第一个10分钟看到的概率,设每时刻看到的概率相同.

只有一颗星,它只可能在第I个10分钟仅出现一次或一次都不出现,(I=1,2,3,4,5,6)

第I个10分中出现概率是:P(1-P)^(I-1),因只有一颗星前面不出现的概率是(1-P)^(I-1)

有 P+P(1-P)+P(1-P)^2+......+P(1-P)^5=0.9

1-(1-P)^6=0.9...  P=1-0.1^(1/6).

推广到任第一S时段,在T时间内A概率,P=1-(1-A)^(S/T)

当然,用积分表示更好.
