IMHO, Clinton's economic growth was still indeed

pumped by the technology development. It is true that the wealth wasn't exactly properly distributed. But it never was. And at least during the internet bubble, some of the real workers, inventors, and scientists got rewarded, comparing to the other times while the privilaged got all the lions share only because of their last names.
