求助老猫和各位：儿子和我被charged with a Class C Misdemeanor for Fail to Atte

老猫及各位，先谢谢了。


我们在TEXAS。儿子17岁, 马上高中毕业. 今天受到COURT信, 第一段话如下：

You have been charged with a Class C Misdemeanor. The law requires that you appear in Court with your parent to answer to the charge of SCHOOL-FAIL TO ATTEND (10 days/6 MONTHS) EDUCATION CODE 25.094.

儿子最近太懒散，我这个妈也确实监管不力。悔之晚矣。儿子其实学校成绩还好，维持在top 1%.

请教，

1。这会给孩子留下犯罪记录或者别的什么污点吗？

2。我需要找律师吗？

3。我们上COURT该准备些什么？
