you do not need to worry about  "Guo" dry, it will auto shut off when the water is gone, and you just need to put a little water depend how mauch rice you put, they have the book to tell you about how much water you need, it will save water and you never worry about brun anything, rice or "Guo", it really relase me to pay any attention when I cook rice.
