从英文字面上讲Sea Bass的确是海鲈鱼，鳕鱼的英文本应该是叫Cod，但是

我也不知道为什么，民间就是这么叫的，你到华人超市去看，Sea Bass 中文就是叫成鳕鱼的。

我当初也有你同样的疑问，现在就从俗了。
