64bit还是32bit, 太揪节了

手提电脑用了４年，该换了，但发现世面上的本本几乎都是win7 64bit, 我需要一台用来看电视，上网和处理文件的本本,有时侯能跑跑程序，CAD软件。我有一整套过去３２bit的软件和游戏

问题是, 在win7 64bit os是不是过去３２bit的所有文件都无法用了？我有许多过去的office文件和程序，如果一下子换到６４，过去的office文件不能用, 软件都不能用，不是要杀人了吗。各位大大能给我解释一下吗？

问个傻问题，为什么intel新的cpu反而只有1.3 GHz,
Intel® Celeron® Dual-Core T3300 (2.0 GHz)
Intel® Pentium® Dual Core SU4100 (1.3 GHz)
