Need to figure out
1) What's you visa status here? If you are not authorized to work, it's out of the question to get back to your field.
2) How's your English skills? Speaking fluent English and writing good English articles?
3) Do you understand American culture?

These may sound discouraging, but you really need to know where you are before you start looking for something. Because you are not in China anymore, you are facing a totally different language and culture.
