Thanks to both of you for your comments and information. I know it is not easy to answer because it really depends on the situation involved in the job change.
If you do not mind, can you share me some of your experience as to if I should tell the HR person my currecnt salary during the inteview? I felt it is very difficult to refuse to answer to that question. What % will the company usually raise based on my current salary if I tell them the truth?
I have been in the U.S. only for less than 10 years, and this is the first time to change. I would appreciate everyone's advices.
