background check for CPA firm

Hi, my undergraduate is in English and worked in administration for several years in China. I took some accounting courses and master in finance.

My question are: Will CPA firms like people with this kind of background? Should I include my experience as administration?

How exact the working experience should be? Is the working experience verified mainly through reference or they have other ways to verify that?
