大侠看:申请工作遇到H1B问题-如何得到小公司offer

一个刚成立1年的新公司，interview时manager 就说他的concern就是我
的immigration status. 因为他们从来没有sponsor过H1b。我说我现在
OPT刚开始1个月，这一年我都可以work legally in US. 后来见了另外
两个人以后manager又和我谈了一下，说他刚才和他们的lawyer打蜡电话，
lawyer说我要是转成H1B要3年的时间。我表示不会take that long
，一般只需要几个月的时间。后来结束以后，我怎么也想不通为什么会需
要3年呢？我觉得是不是公司从来没有办理过H1B，那个律师不太懂阿？
现在我应该怎么作才能拿到这个offer呢？能否自己和immigration lawyer
联系？大侠们有没有这种小公司给转H1B的经历，说说看都是怎么做的？
