I just contacted the bc company, and they said that they hadn't finished the process yet. I have a question regarding the starting date about my current job. The offical starting date is 09/1/20xx. However, the company actually asked to do some projects for them (for free) at the end of 08/20xx. Therefore, I put 08/20xx as the starting date of my current job on my resume. I have the original email from my current employeer as a backup. If the bc company verify the starting date with the current employeer, they will find the difference. Should I contact the company that I'm applying for to explain this.
