"考虑自己主动跟vp约一个appt.除了问问他们对我的期望，希望我做到什么程度，还在准备一些我自己对科室发展的一些看法和有可能提高改善的地方。" very good.

note that "有可能提高改善的地方" means gaps or issues, "看法" are thoughts

If your thoughts can carry any solutions to these issues or tangible ways to close gaps, your thoughts are much more persuasive.
