Just got an offer from a pension software company , position is intermediate programmer analyst... Basic salary is 65k, full time ... I recently have started a new job with an insurance company one week before.. it is a contract position.. Rate is 45 /per , 35 hours one week.. 6 month contract.. Actually before the interview, agent told me that this position is SQL DBA.. but during the interview. they are more interested in my oracle apps dba background.. i thought I could do oracle apps dba work, that should be good...
But this first week, my accound didn't setup fully and I don't have priviledge to access the server. Also I got news from united states office, there is a senior dba in that office.. he mentioned that the oracle apps project would be outsource to another company in the end. but nobody when this will happen... But according to schedule, he will be in my office next august and did some training for me
I really don't know what' s the future.... Should I take the programmer analyst full time posiiont... Honestly speaking I like to have more oracle application experiencesss.. But it seems everything is uncertain...
