放弃现有工作。回国作贸易

My sister's best friend is a nice person with very good heart that we know for long time.She and her hu*****and have been doing important/export for 20+ years. for example, she would sell rice to African country, Coal to HK company, even Petroleum from Russia to China. These kind of deals are mostly huge.

She has been trying to convince me to go back to China. She said there is plenty of opportunities there. Life is wasted if too ordinary, she said.

I live in Bay Area. Making somewhere between $150 and $200K annually (IT management).
If you were me, would you quit the job and go back to China and face the uncertainty?
I am in my early 40s, not married, but with GF here.
