If I were you, I would go, the reasons are:
1) The salaryman's income is always capped, your salary in bay area is not bad, but will be bottlenecked soon.
2) That firm is well established because food, coal, petrolem used to be monopolied by government since they are very lucarative.

But you need be prepared. there are no free lunch in the world, you need prove yourself. What you have is just a key.
