I will not go for sure if a Chinese has been laid off before you (and your first impression to the Eastern Indian guy was not that great.) Offer only makes sense when you can work there as long as you wish and when you can easily find something better than what you have now even when things go west. Relocating the whole family is a big decision, be cautious. Unless you're at your late 20s.
