My husband and I were layoff today

I was always wandering when its gonna happen since this May, Now it's time. My hu*****and was layoff this morning. I did not know that until hearing a message from his colleague, I know it's my time now. We both worked in the same company, not in the same location. Since I'm dependent of his L1 visa, when he lose job, I'm no more eligible working in US.
When coming to my desk, I started clearning some of personal stuff, but just cannot concentrate, since some of my colleagues already left the early morning.
Finally one of our director came, he is nice guy, who introduced me to this job two years ago. I told him that I just learnt from my hu*****and, I'm ready to go now. The following was quite routine, meeing with HR director and my function director. They told me the company is laying off 10% of working force today,I'm not in the layoff list, but because of my visa issue, I have to leave.
I have no complain, this is law, the moment when we accepted the offer from US, there's a risk we should anticipate.
The company gave me the same package like other people. I know I have nothing against them even if there's nothing given to me. They have no choice in face of immigration law.
My head is full of mess after coming back home. My hu*****and was at home already. He asked me how I felt, I gave him a big hug, and said it's alright, it finally happened.
Because we hold L visa, we need to leave US immediately. There are too many things in my list to be taken care of. We have cars to sell, household things to packed, ticket to be booked, etc... even we don't know where to go. My daughter is two years and half now. spending most of her time in daycare. at least we have plenty of time for her now.
What left to me actually means a lot, my family gets even stronger. With my hu*****and we have been through many difficult time, No matter he followed me or I followed him travelling around the world, this relations just gets stronger and stronger. We have a beautiful girl, we are young, have good health, we have future!!!!!
If the same thing happens to other people like me today, just don't give up, Family is our root. If we have family, we have all.
