我是不是因为请假的事而被reject了?

有个新工作, 上星期三面试后本来说这个星期可以开始. 但父母突然说六月过来. 所以我星期五写了个email给人家说是六月中想请一个星期的假. 但对方到现在没有回音. 我是不是因为请假的事而被reject了?
