that's one of the reasons why not every company can be successful.
I still think " people first" is important to a company.
At times when you have to layoff employees, at least You show respect to them and give them a decent package.
That's the way to keep the talented people to work for you.
Actually at MBA programs there is a course called organization behaviour that could answer some of the questions.
