I, for one, actually like to a job with some challenges. To be busy may not mean stressful if he is very good at his job. There are two main goals to work; (1) to earn money and (2) to get a feeling you are somebody. I bet your hu*****and may feel good for both.

“该他出头的时候了’ I think he should be promoted as a manager soon if he could pay a little more attention for this not just work. Then a big salary raise should not be a problem. It is also not a problem even he could be just promoted as a principal engineer. I think this should happen very soon. If he gets a new job, it may need a few years for him to get used to the new company, which actually is not good for one’s career growth. If I were him, I would choose to stay. There are two the reasons I chose to move this time; more than 40% salary raise and a challenging job. Otherwise, sometimes it’s good to stay for the sake of promotion.


What kind of consulting confirm can he set up in the future?, not sure yet. I’ll find it out. This is another goal I decided to move to the bay area.
