没有收入的日子里经历元气已大伤

How would you feel if you have no any income?

I do not know how others feel; I certainly know how I feel. I used to have a relatively good income 3 months ago. I quit my previous job and came to a new town to start a new job and new life. Not for long, things did not work out well; and suddenly I have no income. The new job and new life turned out to be sour.

I had never lost my job until very recently. For the 2-3 months, I have not had any income. The money just runs dry fast if there is no income comes in. Other than no income, the worst of all is that you do not have a peaceful mind, actually I feel quite depressed with tiredness, many sleepless nights, body aching, etc. of typical depression symptoms. It is like living in the hell. I began to miss the life I used to have, maybe not a great life, but a life with many enjoys and some laughter.

I have been looking for a job. I went for quite a few interviews and I had several offers. Some offers are quite OK.
I should feel there is light at the end of dark tunnel, but I just do not have that excitement with any offer anymore.

My previous employer also wants me to go back because they think that I am a great guy. I want to go back, but psychologically, I feel I will fell losing face if I go back to the previous employer. It is a safe job and they pay me OK, but the salary will probably stay the same without much room for increase. I want to take a new job with a higher income potential, but I do not know if I can take any risk anymore. You may say no income make me lost all courage. But that is true that 我的元气已大伤。It takes time to rebuild my courage and confidence. I myself need to recuperate mentally and physically.
