各位地产大佬，这是什么情况？

国内朋友今天发微信，她女儿去年在美国二线城市中心租一个studio，去年房租$1850, 今年年初租约到期续租，只是抱怨一下租金较贵，物管马上把租金调成$1450，这是啥情况，预示租房巿场急转直下？？
