还是那句话：美国不需要建高铁。

中国建高铁是迫不得已。高铁占用大量耕地，且需要高昂的维护费用，在人口密集的国家才划算。美国城市分散，人口居住也分散，现有的铁路利用率都很低；如果建高铁，人们下了高铁还得租车，非常麻烦。高铁这么大的项目，一定对人们的出行和经济发展帮助很大，才能考虑。美国目前的交通系统，完全可以满足国民的需要。在美国建高铁完全不必要。
