"Toyota will never, ever admit to an electronic defect of any kind. Period. The costs to replace an engineering defect of this kind is astronomical notwithstanding the huge legal liability. It's far less expensive to let Toyota customers and drivers get maimed or killed and litigate the fallout in the courts. How's that for corporate ethics?"
