braided stainless brake lines upgrade

I am thinking of upgrading my brake lines with braided stainless steel lines; technical advantage is a firmer/more responsive braking. Has any one done this and what is your feeling about the upgrade during mormal/severe braking? Thanks for sharing in advance.
