thanks for the info. I will approach this more carefully. the upgrade brake line kit cab be found from many aftermaket autopart manufacturers. the one i target is BFGoodrich brand. the brake line to be replaced is the rubber hoses between the caliper and steel tubing fittings, not the whole line. if i have a little more money ($~500), i would upgrade the rear rotor/caliper assembly fitted under the oem 16" rims). i can only do one thing at a time. this job is not violating any federal regulations and a easy one too. i just don't know how effective it is practically. any more comments are greatly appreciated.
