李白will be很失望, since my translation will disgrace his poem. but who cares, I think this poem fits me perfect today.



白酒新熟山中归，黄鸡啄黍秋正肥。
--> this wonderful year is finally come to a end, time to relax and enjoy the last few days.

　　呼童烹鸡酌白酒，儿女嬉笑牵人衣。
--> family get together, enjoying a nice dinner, kids are out of school, laughing about what Santa going to bring them.

　　高歌取醉欲自慰，起舞落日争光辉。
--> enjoying myself, while looking outside, the sky is clear, sun is shining, birds are singing, swans are cruising thru outside of our windows.

　　游说万乘苦不早，著鞭跨马涉远道。
--> kids are excited about the upcoming holiday, and vacation.

　　会稽愚妇轻买臣，余亦辞家西入秦。
--> today, the few that may never understand me, call me names, and try to bring me down to their level, I am just going to laugh at them.

　　仰天大笑出门去，我辈岂是蓬蒿人。
--> haha, I am not going to be make myself mad, rather I will continue enjoy this beautiful day...
