Moved out on Jan 1st with only a couple of day's notification. Got them to sign termination of lease paper and deducted 100% deposit, but told them that if I got Jan. rented I might give them some money back. A few days before the end of Jan they called to ask if the unit was rented. Told them new tenant would move in Feb. 1st. Just few minutes ago they called to ask their deposit back! I said you guys walked out on me, I lost one month's rent, I got to pay to keep the house heated, and I ran so many times to show the house, now you want your deposit back?
A lot of them use drugs. Their brains are cooked.
