"钱元凯: 像素提升肯定有限度,其实现在不管是 1000 万的口袋型数码相机还是 2000 万的全画幅数码相机,像素在一般使用都完全够用,"

This part is right.

"如果再提升,分辨率不会随之提高,反而会下降。"

The main idea of this article is that "像素提升,分辨率反而会下降". But this is totally wrong.  Diffraction is completely determined by the lens (and its aperture).  It has nothing to do with how you detected the image.  More pixels on the sensor just means you can see the diffraction (and other real details) better.  It does not make the diffraction (and other real details) worse.

One problem of raising pixel count is: you need to buy more harddisk drive.  But you have the option to choose a smaller format on your camera.

A bigger technic detail is in the noise for each pixel.  At moderate ISO, this is not a problem because noise is reduced when you downsize the pixel count.  At high ISO, noise increase rapidly, so that downsizing benefit cannot completely reduce the noise back to its level for smaller pixel count.
