#1 is the only reason for Leica (if collecting is your hobby, not photography).
The rest have cheaper and better options. For example, for #4 & #5, using Leica M9, how many photos like the following can you capture in one hour? I can capture easily capture >100 with the cheaper option of Canon 1D4 or Nikon D4. I doubt I can capture 10 using M9. What about you?
